Retarded Ejaculation Myths And Facts

Myths and Facts about Premature Ejaculation That You Should Know

There are lots of myths and sayings revolving round the sex act and premature ejaculation is no exception here. In this article I shall dispel a few such myths and debunk them and state the actual facts for your help.

Myth 1 # Premature ejaculation must be related to some underlying disease

Premature ejaculation is not an illness, nor is it a disease nor does it indicate the presence of any underlying disease, but it definitely exists in the form of clinical diagnosis. Mostly it is psychological issues which cause premature ejaculation but low serotonin levels also cause PE. Discover a guaranteed method to improve both psychological and physical causes in my review on curing premature ejaculation

Myth 2 # I can last longer if I stop fantasizing about sexy stuff

Although many people will advise this technique of distraction and diverting yourself, in reality it has worked only for some people and for others it doesn’t work. In short, you cannot treat this method as a solution.  Rather it will decrease your sensation of feeling the sexual pleasure.  If you want to control your premature ejaculation, you have to concentrate on your body and learn to control your urge, instead of just diverting yourself. With a little bit of practice, you will be able to do it and enjoy full physical satisfaction. Find out how to maximise your sensation by clicking here

Myth 3 # some are born with it, some aren’t

This is another myth I would like to debunk. The ability to control premature ejaculation isn’t an innate quality; those who are able to do it have previous masturbatory experiences or may have practiced self control with the help of previous bed partners.  You have to understand that ejaculation is just like urination and you should practice controlling premature ejaculation just the way you control your urge to urinate.

Myth 4 # you will be called a premature ejaculator when you cum in a few minutes

This is not wholly true. In many medical definitions there is a specific time limit and if you ejaculate within that you will be termed a premature ejaculator but to diagnose this problem, there are many other symptoms to be taken into account. Many definitions of premature ejaculation do not include time limits.

Myth 5 # this sexual dysfunction has no solution

On the contrary, with a little bit of practice, majority of the men learn to control their premature ejaculation on their own and there is just no need of any kind of medical intervention or visits to therapy. You can read my review on Ejaculation Trainer to learn these techniques.

Myth 6 # I can treat premature ejaculation with pills

You will have probably read about many pills and potions that claim to cure premature ejaculation, and up until very recently I would have frowned upon them all. But recent findings have discovered one premature ejaculation pill that really does work to cure the problem.

A recent State of the Art Medical Conference on Premature Ejaculation found that mental factors DO contribute to PE. But time to ejaculation is MOSTLY a biological (physical) variable. And they noted that the use of special medications lengthens the time from penetration to ejaculation.

These medications act on the body’s serotonin system. Serotonin is a natural nerve chemical (neurotransmitter) which promotes relaxation. Guys who come quickly have lower levels of this natural body chemical. This is one of the primary reasons for premature ejaculation.

Most of these serotonin enhancers (medically called SSRI’s, eg Prozac) have side effects leading to reduced libido (sex drive) or even impotence. So are definitely not recommended to treat PE.

But the good news is that one SSRI Dapoxetine (Trademark Priligy) has been proven to work to control premature ejaculation. It is also fast acting (approx 1hr) and is quickly expelled from the body.

Dapoxetine has few side effects, the odd headache or slight nausea, and even better they can be used on demand, one hour before sex - just like the popular erection enhancer Viagra.
